Thomas Thorogood

Thomas leads Global Production Source with a simple belief: people come first. As Director, he's built GPS around a team he trusts implicitly — people who bring consistency to the work and peace of mind to every client.

That philosophy comes from experience. Before stepping into his role at GPS, Thomas spent years working with some of the biggest names in live event production, building relationships with companies and crews that have lasted well beyond the gigs that started them; many of those early connections are now lifelong friends. He brings that same mentality to GPS today, mentoring his team and creating space for them to grow into the roles they actually want. If someone has a passion for audio, lighting, video, or any other discipline, Thomas makes it a priority to help them build a career doing what they love.

It's not an easy industry, and the job asks a lot, but Thomas has never asked his team for anything he hasn't already given himself. That dedication is exactly what shaped the standard GPS holds itself to today: people may not remember every detail of an event, but they'll always remember how it made them feel. That's the bar Thomas holds his team to on every job.

Outside of work, Thomas trades the crowds and production chaos for quiet — kayaking and paddleboarding through spots like Oleta River State Park, exploring South Florida's nature trails, or finding new corners of the cities he calls home. He's a firm believer in treating your own city like a tourist destination, and it shows: equally happy at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens as he is grabbing sushi at Shima or tacos at The Taco Stand. Whether it's outdoors or at a live concert, Thomas brings the same curiosity and appreciation for experience to his time off as he does to the events he builds for a living.
